Canavati, Jorge

Jorge Canavati is Vice President of Business Development at the Port Authority of San Antonio. Mr. Canavati has over 25 years of experience in transportation and logistics, specializing in Mexico traffic and trade. He is the author of various articles and editorials on Mexico trade and transportation issues. Mr. Canavati is on the board of various international trade organizations and is the official Texas representative of the National Importers and Exporters Association of Mexico, ANIERM. Mr. Canavati is the chairman of the Logistics committee of the Free Trade Alliance and the chairman of the steering subcommittee of Multimodal Corridor Development of Mexico sanctioned by the Ministry of Transportation and Communication of Mexico (SCT).

Mr. Canavati attended the Metropolitan University of Mexico City, Mexico City, and Our Lady of the Lake

University, Houston, Texas. He has been married for 23 years and has two children.
