Duval, Mark

Mark Duval grew up in Southern Africa and moved to the United States where he was based in Austin, Texas from 1991 to 1995. In 1996 Mark moved to China and over the past decade, he has filled a number of key management positions in the Motorola China organization including manufacturing, merger and acquisition integration, strategy and operations management, business development and government relations.

After managing the 2004 spin-off of Motorola’s semiconductor business in China, Mark joined the Motorola China Presidents Office where he is currently the Director of Business Operations for Motorola China. His responsibilities include managing governance and corporate affairs, government relations, and operations and special projects.

Mark is a member of the Amcham Board of Governors in Beijing where he is co-chair of the Amcham Public Policy Development Committee and the US Government Relations Committee. He is also an active member of the US Information Technology Office (USITO) where he is chair of the Convergence and Digital Media Working Group.

Mark has a BSc. from the University of Natal, Durban (South Africa); a postgraduate diploma in Organizational Psychology from the Australian College of Applied Psychology, and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, (USA).
