Hon. Zheng Zeguang

Deputy Chief of Mission, Chinese Embassy
Zheng Zeguang, born in Guangdong Province.

After graduating from Punning Teacher Training College, he taught for two years in a middle school in Guangdong. He later went to South China Normal University and graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts. In 1986, he studied International Law in the University of Wales, UK and from 1987 on, he worked in the Chinese Embassy in Trinidad & Tobago.

He was deputy director in the Department of North America & Oceania Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and later worked in the Chinese Embassy in Washington, DC.

From 1999 to 2004, he was director of U.S. Affairs and deputy director-general in the Department of North America & Oceania Affairs, MFA.

Over the years, he attended various training programs organized by MFA and other institutions, including a senior executive program co-organized by the prestigious Qinghua University and Harvard University.
